SubHosting.net Quality VPS Hosting

subhosting.net

subhosting.net

Subhosting.net offers quality vps and dedicated hosting for what looks to be a reasonable price.

If however you do a little digging online try googling “subhosting.net review” you can see that there are several angry rants about the companies activities.

Having not used the company ourselves we are only able to comment on the site and the hosting prices.

So lets look at the pricing.

Shared Hosting Cost $2.95 and gets you 20 GB space, 100GB bandwidth, and lets you manage up to 5 domains. This seems to be a deal for just under $3 a month.

VPS Hosting Cost just $19.95 and you get 512MB ram (very little), 40GB space (very little for $20), and 500GB of bandwidth (not bad).

Dedicated Hosting Cost $209 a month, and includes 2GB ram (standard), 2 500 GB SATAs (nice), and up to 2TB or 2,000 GB of data transfer.

Assuming their reliability is decent these prices sound realistic. The main question I have is how reliable are they and how good is their customer support. Those are the real questions.

If you’ve used this company in the past please post your feedback below. If you are the company we would love to hear from you as well.

TheHuntersWife.net Blog

thehunterswife.net

thehunterswife.net

The site thehunterswife.net is a semi-humorous blog that details the not so glamorous life of a hunters wife.

This blog is definitely for the ladies, and especially those ladies who have hunting, and fishing obsessed husbands.

I can tell you as an ex-hunter, and as a failed fisherman (we never catch much), it’s all about socializing and getting away. That’s why we fish or hunt. We can’t just say, hey Honey I want to spend a few thousand dollars on a boat so I can ride around on the lake with my buddies on the weekend. We all know that wouldn’t work. So we combine a predominantly male task “getting food” with our leisure activities. It works out best this way.

So the hunters wife has some pretty funny content, I really like the part where she is holding what looks to be a tiny brim with a baby wipe. (you have to see it to believe it)

It doesn’t matter if you are a hunter or a hunters wife, there are bound to be a few cool things to find over at http://thehunterswife.net

The Internet Movie Database

imdb.com

imdb.com

The Internet Movie Database or  imdb, is the largest and most updated movie database in the world period. No other site or database comes even remotely close to having the up to date content and previews that imdb.com has.

We’ve all Googled for a movie, or a celebrity and ended up on their site, why we didn’t start there to begin with is a mystery to me as well. If i had to guess, it’s because we can’t remember the imdb. Though it’s just 4 character it’s a bit confusing with the db or bd, or whatever.

Some of its more useful content include “Tops at the Box Office”, “Opening this Week”, as well as “Coming Soon”, and recent DVD Releases.

It has over 19 million pages listed in the Google Index, that’s a bunch of content. If you can’t find the info you want on a movie or t.v. show then something is wrong.

The site was established back in 1996, and as we said earlier is the most useful, and up to date database of its kind.

Networkintl.com Auctions & Private Sales

networkintl.com

networkintl.com

Networkintl.com is another one of those great auction sites that we have previously written about. It is owned by the same people that run GovDeals.com, and Liquidation.com

This site is unique however because it specializes in buying and selling surplus energy equipment for the oil and gas, as well as mining industry.

This site has a plethora of content and useful information, and the user interface is nice, clean, and easy to navigate.

As a humerus note, the first item on their inventory list is a “Blowout Preventer” , and I can’t help but wonder… If BP had bought it’s Blowout Preventer in bulk, by using a service like Networkintl.com maybe it would have had extras on hand and have been able to replace the failed one and stopped some of the gulf coast oil disaster. I know it’s not funny, but I’ve never heard of a Blowout Preventer until recently.

So, the site has some really interesting and apparently useful hardware and equipment for the energy industry. For the buyers they offer immediate access to the widest selection of the equipment you’re looking for. For the sellers they offer a marketplace for that expensive equipment you no longer have use for, and it seems to be a great way to make some fast cash.

Liquidation.com Surplus Auctions

liquidation.com

liquidation.com

Liquidation.com is one of the premier sites online for surplus & wholesale auctions. It is part of a larger network of auction sites that include Govdeals.com, Liquibiz.com, networkintl.com

These sites are solid, in the sense that they are established networks that offer many goods/products in bulk or just plane cheap due to the nature of the auctions.

Liquidation.com is free to join and boasts over 1,000,000 (yea 1 million buyers/sellers). The company is publicly trades on the NASDAQ as LQDT.

Liquidation has been featured in CBS, Business Week, NBC, The Washington Post, ABC News, Fox News, Forbes, and even USA Today.

The site is old too, not a new idea by any means. The site was first started back in January of 1998. If you can’t trust them who can you trust right?
